I have just signed off on the cover of my new book, The Crimes of Dr Gramshaw, due out in November - very exciting! The design team at Matador have done a great job as usual, and this is exactly what I had in mind for the book.
I can't wait for the book to be available - there is only so much I can fit into the talks I give about Dr Gramshaw, and I want people to be able to read the whole story. There is the Dublin angle, the 'interesting' lives of his sons, and the re-appearance 80 years later of the adopted daughter - it really is a tangled web he wove, and fascinating stuff.
I'll be doing a local launch at Dringhouses library in October but I'm also going to talk nationally about it to the National Women's Register in September, after which I think Dr Gramshaw will be well and truly launched!
